Tempered glass
Tempered glass is heating float glass to the softening point, and then through a rapid and uniform cooling. After tempering, there is a compressive stress on the surface and tensile stress inside, which improved the strength of bending and impact of the glass.
Application: flat tempered, curved tempered belong safety glass, which are widely used in windows and doors, curtain walls, partition glass, lighting ceiling, sightseeing elevator channel, furniture, glass guardrail, etc.
Performance characteristics:
Safety: when the glass is broken by external forces, broken pieces is small particles like honeycomb, which is not easy to do harm to human bodies.
High strength: impact strength of tempered glass of the same thickness is 3 to 5 times of ordinary glass, bending strength is 3 to 5 times of ordinary glass.
Thermal stability: good thermal stability, the temperature difference is 3 times that of ordinary glass, can withstand 200℃ temperature changes.
